giving back

These organizations are dear to my heart. I have dedicated to giving 5% of all sales to the Safe Girls’ Home, and 5% of all sales to Hannah’s House by Zoe Ministries.

safe girls’ home

When Senegalese pastor Mamadou and his wife, Marie, first learned of a number of girls in neighboring communities and outlying villages who were at risk of being trafficked, they knew their church needed to help. They decided to open their own home to these girls and provide them with a safe haven. Families in impoverished communities often send their young girls out to work or give them away to someone else for money, putting them at risk of being trafficked.

Initially taking in a handful of girls, their ministry has grown to now caring for 36 girls, and they recently moved into a new building. The girls not only receive food, shelter, and an education, but also learn about the love of Jesus through the involvement of the local church. the goal is to help them grow and give them skills to support themselves and their families. Many of the girls have come to Christ, and the ministry prays that many more will come to know him.

Hannah’s house: Zoe ministries

The mission of Zoe Ministries is to provide safety, healing, and advocacy for those impacted or potentially impacted by sex trafficking. Zoe Ministries has opened a safe home for female sex-trafficking survivors, ages 12-17 years.

Situated in an undisclosed location for residential living and care, each resident will have a case plan with wrap-around services to meet her needs. Every case plan will include individualized therapy and trauma counseling, equine therapy, and mentorship, medical services, education, legal aid, employment and life skills, and spiritual studies if desired.

All staff and volunteers are highly trained and trauma-informed. At Zoe, we live in an authentic loving relationship, without judgement or condemnation. We persevere through struggles and overcome obstacles as a family.
